My journey to psychology

1 / 5

What I believe

A psychologist isn’t someone who knows everything. It’s someone who believes in your inner knowledge and helps you unleash it.

I want to be the kind of psychologist with whom you

What we can work on

Choose what resonates with you.

If what’s on your mind isn’t on the list, just write to me. Sometimes it’s enough to start with “I’m having a hard time” or “I don’t know where to begin.”

My approach

In my work I use an integrative approach and draw most on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Its core idea resonates with me: rather than fighting difficult thoughts and feelings, we learn to make room for them while living in line with what truly matters to you.

The MSU program gave me a foundation in a range of modern approaches. In my practice, I use techniques from ACT, CBT, schema therapy and the existential approach. Tap a card to see a question you might hear in a session.

A minute for yourself

A short practice from ACT. It helps you see that a thought is just a thought, not the truth about you.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know I need a psychologist?

You don’t have to wait until things get really hard. If something bothers you, keeps repeating, or you simply want to understand yourself better, that’s reason enough to come.

Which languages do you work in?

English, Russian or Azerbaijani — whichever feels most comfortable for talking about yourself.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes. I work online with people from different countries.

How long is a session and how much does it cost?

A session lasts 1 hour and costs 70 AZN.

Will our conversation stay between us?

Yes. Confidentiality is the foundation of a psychologist’s work. The only exception is when there is a risk to life.

When should I seek a different kind of help?

If you are in acute crisis or your life is at risk, please contact your country’s emergency services right away. Psychological counseling is not a substitute for psychiatric care when it is needed.
